Greetings! Calvary Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Metropolitan Chicago Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Calvary is the Lutheran church closest to Midway Airport in the southwest side of Chicago and was founded in 1922.
We are a community of individuals of different backgrounds invited to follow Jesus Christ. By God’s grace, we seek to live out our mission:

We invite you to join us for worship on Sundays at 9:00 a.m., for Bible study the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month at 10:00 a.m., for special services during Advent and Lent, and for special outreach events as announced (see the Calendar and Chronicle pages of this website) and Facebook page. Wherever you are on your faith journey, we invite you to accompany us as we endeavor to follow Jesus’s teaching and example in our lives as individuals, families, and a Christian community of faith.
